About Wendy Nielsen
After a distinguished international career on the operatic and concert stage, Canadian soprano Wendy Nielsen is now Full Time Lecturer in Voice and Opera at the University of Toronto. In addition she is Head Vocal Consultant for the Canadian Opera Company Studio Ensemble.
Since 1994 she has been the Artistic Director of the St Andrews Summer Opera Workshop developing it into the nationally recognized workshop that it is today.
When she isn't busy in her Toronto studio she is paddling at her lakeside home in New Brunswick.
